Dr. Dominic Macedonia received his medical degree from The Ohio State University. He trained in general surgery at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He continued his education in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin. He has been board-certified by The American Board of Thoracic Surgery and The American Board of General Surgery. Dr. Macedonia has received additional training over the past several years in the use of the latest techniques for treatment of varicose veins and spider veins. He has learned these techniques from both experts and pioneers in the field of venous disease. Only the most advanced techniques are utilized for the treatment of your venous problems. Because of his background in the surgical treatment of these problems, you can be assured that he is equipped to treat both routine and complicated circulatory problems.
